The collar sits properly instead of flopping. It looks like two pieces and it is one.
Sized up as advised and the fit is exactly what I wanted, roomy enough to layer a shirt under.
A shawl collar knit built as a faux two-piece, so the collar panel is part of the garment and never slips. Closed, it sits as a soft layered top. Shifted open, the collar falls into lapels and it wears like a relaxed knit blazer. Medium weight, long sleeves, cape-style cut, regular length that lands around the hip. Solid colour, eight shades. One top per order.
Acrylic blend knit, 58% polyester with 42% other fibres. Medium thickness, soft hand, holds its shape. Treat it as knitwear: cool gentle wash or hand wash, no bleach, reshape and dry flat rather than hanging, cool iron if needed. Fold to store so the shoulders keep their line.

How to pick your size
These are cut on Asian sizing, which runs 1 to 2 sizes smaller than US and EU. Most customers take one size up. Measure yourself first and order by the numbers, not by the letter you usually wear.
Use a soft tape. Bust: around the fullest part, tape level and not pulled tight. Waist: around the narrowest part, usually just above the navel. Measure over the layer you plan to wear underneath, and keep the tape flat.
Find your usual US size below, then take the size one step up from the row it lands in. If you like a looser blazer drape over a shirt, go up one more.

Shift it open and the same collar drops into lapels, so it wears like a relaxed knit blazer over a shirt or a dress. Nothing to unbutton, nothing to add. You move the panel, the piece changes, and you get two outfits out of one thing in your wardrobe.
